adaptability
Starting the in eighth grade I have interned at the Adaptive Design Association
For the last 10 years, I’ve interned for the Adaptive Design Association, an organization that builds adaptive technologies for people with intellectual and physical disabilities. During my time with the organization, I’ve learned just how impactful design can be.
I’ve worked on the fabrication team building adaptations.
I have also helped train interns and young adults with autism in ADA fabrication, part of a program that aims to prepare those individuals for the workforce.
I have since become an Adaptive Design Fellow, working to help further the ADAs mission, through outreach, fundraising and education.
